It is with great saddness, I tell you Bint Mona Fisa was laid to rest on the afternoon of the 24th of Sept. She has left us with a legacy of  foals to carry her blood with perfection into the future: Khe El Din (available for purchase from his owner, Jean Clark) by Khe Adhm; Khemona Lisa BWA by Khe Adhm, Mon Amir BWA (for sale by his owner) by Amir Seralim BWA, Monanisa BWA by Amir Seralim. These individuals are HL/SO/AK / Asil.

Bint Mona Fisa gave us the lovely Masada El Shahwan son, Selah  Elham BWA, who is also for sale by  his owner. He is SO/SE/AK..and is a gorgeous, typey bay.

She produced two very nice colts,  serving as family horses: Mona Fisa's Solar BWA and El Nefous BWA, both geldings

Bint Mona Fisa arrived here at Brandywine as a 3 yo..a tall,  gangly mare of a different look. When we turned her into the pasture, she showed us what her breeding was about! She had the most awesome ground covering trot with tremendous extension. We have never regretted making this lovely mare by Sonietassolar RSI and out of the double *Fakher El Din mare, Mona Fisa, one of our three foundation ladies. She was one of the very few Sonietassolar RSI  straight Egyptian daughters.Mona passed onto her children long necks, great legs, hips and her awesome trot.. She has left us a legacy.

Our congratulations to Laurence Perceval and Pierre Hermet of France who own the lovely black grandson, Zaraq al Amir BWA by Amir Seralim BWA and out of Khemona Lisa BWA. And our congratulations to Carole Renault who owns the black lovely Bint Mona Fisa grandson, Sheykh Obeyd BWA, by Khesir BWA and out of Khemona Lisa BWA. Misemma BWA by Mon Amir BWA and out of Sirenasellen BWA,  was purchased by Abdullah Al Haddad of Kuwait.  Bint Mona Fisa's torch is far lighting reaching thus I pass onto those of you who have her children and grandchildren ! Their foals will be legendary.

We wish to thank Lesley and Tom Detweiler for the excellent care they gave Bint Mona Fisa during her stay of a few months with them. And my thanks to them for her tender passing over Rainbow Bridge.

God blessed Brandywine Arabians and the world with the gift mare, Bint Mona Fisa. She earned peace in greener pastures for her 18 years of service. May the wind always be at your back and the sun warm in your face. I will miss you, Bint Mona Fisa..
