Brandywine Arabians proudly offers some of the most rare combinations of Straight Egyptian Arabian bloodlines that are in existence today. If you are interested in starting a Sheykh Obeyd, Heirloom or Sheykh Obeyd "Hadban" [in Strain] Straight Egyptian Arabian breeding program we can work with you to accomplish that goal. We have now downsized and placed all of our Hadban breeding stock with breeders who will carry on that vison. However, we will be more than happy to refer you to our clients that have purchased our Hadban Sheykh Obeyd Arabian horses. Likey they will have a foal for sale or you can at least get on their waiting list. A few of our select mares are still available to be leased on premise. We will help you select the right Straight Egyptian, Sheykh Obeyd, Brandywine Arabian Farm owned stallion to breed your "leased" mare to and the resulting foal can be yours when it is foaled. Foals can also be purchased in utero if the particular mare you are interested in is already in foal. We will be more than happy to work with you to put you on the road to realizing your dream foal.

It has never been on a horse (yet!!) and is still new. Photos really cannot do it justice, as it is eye popping gorgeous and made to specifically catch light. The design is one of a kind and the workmanship is at the top of the scale. It is also made to adjust to various sizes of horse with rings under the edges. It is tasteful and eye catching! The artist has been doing this for some 40 years and some of the costumes made by her have been passed from one generation to the next because they are so wonderful and well made. She created the bridle and attached the beads onto it individually. The buckle on the headstall is hidden under the poll covering. There are many special features that she has put in that have resulted from her own experiences when competing in costume classes.

Volume I through VIII

Description from the Pyramid Society web site:
Author: The Pyramid Society
"Reference Handbooks of Straight Egyptian Horses"
include the following:
Color photographs and pedigrees of the finest Egyptian Arabian horses in the world.
History of Egypt's Arabian horses.
Listing Of Straight Egyptian horses by farm/ranch and owner.
The Influence of Egyptian Arabian horses throughout the world.

Volumes One through Eight of the Reference Handbook Of Straight Egyptian Horses. They have been handled quite a lot. Some are in excellent condition and most are in good condition. The binding on a couple of them have missing rings but all pages are in tact. The photos show the condition as best as possible and are of the actual book covers and pages.

The set will not be broken up, as I would not want a broken set for myself and the volumes that are the most difficult to locate would go first. Please do not request individual volumes.

Some pages will have stains or discoloration. For example, Volume Seven has some rippling on the pages from condensation at the very back of the book, and a stain on the inside back cover (see photo). Other pages are affected also, but the photos are still in decent condition in all of the books.

Overall, most volumes are in good condition and none are in "bad" condition as far as the inside pages go. The plastic spines on a couple have missing spirals but no missing pages and the photo pages are well viewable. Volume I is now considered a Collector's Item and hard to find. It is in excellent condition. Volume V, with a Spiral Bound Softcover is in "good" condition. NOT every volume offered is a Collector Item. For example, new copies of Volume VIII may or may not be available on the Pyramid Society web site.
